I was born in a little village with only 200 houses, in the middle of nowhere near a place called Tuticorin, India. My parents moved to Chennai, India, a big city when I was only 11 months old looking to build me a good foundation. From age 1, I spent almost my entire waking day in my parents' tailoring and export shop. I watched my parents hustle their way through life and build something from nothing. I think that was when the entrepreneurship bug bit me.
My dad passed away in 1997, when I was 6 years old. My life took a 180 degree turn. My mom had to work odd jobs just to keep our lights on. Though we struggled to meet our ends, the hustle stayed a common denominator.
